We are just less than a month away from Christmas Day, and everyone is looking forward to shopping holiday gifts for their loved ones. With too many options from online and in-person stores, it gets hard to decide which ones are the best spots that suit your gifting needs! We can relate, so we did the work for you! Now that we’re back again with our Shop Local Movement series, we’ve listed some go-to local stores that you can check out for your shopping spree this holiday season.


Giving Gifts

The foundation of Giving Gifts started with dreams, passion, courage, and positivity, which makes it a perfect go-to store for the Christmas season. The shop represents the idea of bringing brands together as they work with local artists that bring difference to the world through their wonderful creations. They offer a wide variety of products for skincare and wellness, clothing and jewellery, baby and kids, home and food, as well as stationery. 

Giving Gifts opens at 11:00 am to 6:00 pm from Mondays to Fridays, 10:00 am to 6:00 pm on Saturdays, and 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm on Sundays. 


Circle Craft

Location: Vancouver Convention Centre West Building, 1055 Canada Pl, Vancouver, BC

Known as Western Canada's largest craft market, Circle Craft excels in featuring hundreds of craftspeople and artisans from coast-to-coast, as well as in showcasing the Canadian craft and design. Offering impeccable pieces of high-quality clothing and jewellery, Circle Craft has been considered a Vancouver tradition for locals and visitors. 

The store opens every day from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.


The Coast Goods

Location: 1302 Victoria Dr, Vancouver, BC

The Coast Goods is a home decor & giftware shop situated in a 100+ year old building 

in Victoria Drive & Charles Street’s little neighbourhood in East Vancouver. They feature both local and global independent artisans and curated collections of ethically made goods. Coast Goods mainly specializes in pottery, weaving, artwork, apothecary and self-care brands that are ethically produced from across Canada, the US, and Europe.

The store opens at 10:00 am to 6:00 pm from Mondays to Fridays, 11:00 am to 6:00 pm on Saturdays, and 11:00 am to 5:00 pm on Sundays.


Nineteen Ten Home Boutique

Nineteen Ten Home is an independent home boutique founded in 2012 with the aim to create a welcoming space that would invite a positive and friendly community through beautifully made objects from independent artists. The shop showcases a thoughtfully curated selection of home and wellness goods; ranging from gifts, skincare, stationery, ceramics, home furnishings and lighting, etc. Nineteen Ten source their items from all over the globe, but with a focus on supporting independent & Canadian made products.

The store opens at 11:00 am to 5:30 pm from Tuesdays to Saturdays, 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm on Sundays, and closes on Mondays.
